Quick testing of sensory nerve fibres
The device implements the Calibrated Tuning fork and Neuropad (humidification) test procedures efficiently and more precisely. The tests can be performed on the limbs, the sensors are very easy to attach to the body surface, and have with minimal burden during the test.
Process of the examination
- Press Start to run the test automatically.
- Device automatically increases the level of stimulus current emitted (2000Hz 10CPT/sec, 5Hz 3CPT/3sec). If the patient indicates they feel a tingling sensation, this value is considered the threshold.
- Pressing the status button will restart the automatic current level reduction (2000Hz 5CPT/sec, 5Hz 2CPT/3sec). If the patient indicates that they do not feel the tingling sensation, the examiner presses the button. After pressing the button, the neuropathic value is shown on the display.
