SN-01 Sensory nerve fibres’ neuropathy measurement system
- The measurement and evaluation system examines the condition of the sensory nerve fibres on the body surface non-invasively. This examination quantitively defines the degree of the sensory nerve fibres’ neuropathological divergences in 3 fixed frequency ranges. The technology ensures automatic Score evaluation based on internationally approved Guidelines.
- Painless, automated and standardized examination of sensory nerve fibres can be performed anywhere on the body surface. Most common application in diabetes in the limbs (hands, feet).
Process of examination:
- The examination is based on a dialogue between the patient and the examiner, guided by the system software.
Loading the test algorithms required to conduct the tests.
Designation of the surface of the body to be examined based on a map.
The body surface position is transcribed to the control field in the Examination information window.
The test can be started.
Once started, the instructions for the dialogues for the steps of the tests are opened.
The frequency range to be tested is displayed in the Frequency Window.
The Button State window indicates that a test cycle is in progress.
In the Energy Level window, activate the stimulus current release and release a stimulus current continuously or in steps. The patient indicates that they feel the current definitely.
The examiner starts by lowering the stimulus level to determine the neuropathic value. These operations are repeated for each frequency range. The automatically evaluated results are displayed in the Value window.
Sensors can be easily attached to the selected body surface (Velcro, self-adhesive).
